Multimedia Journalist

“Journalism can never be silent: that is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air.”
— Henry Anatole Grunwald

About Myself

My name is Jessica Bertram. I am 20-years-old and from Southern Utah. Currently I live in Phoenix, Arizona as a student at Arizona State University. I’m studying Journalism and Mass Communication.

Although I have a large passion for sports photojournalism, my specialization is in broadcast journalism. During my previous semester my classmates and I would produce and anchor weekly segments for ASU’s radio station Blaze Radio.

Recently, I am diving into the world of videography. I have started a YouTube channel where I will upload various short films, in addition to vlogs about my life. With this I hope to improve my overall skill level in video production.

Currently when not at school or behind the camera I do board operations for broadcasts in the NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB.
